Mexico, Nov 24 (EFE) .- The main indicator of the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), the Price and Quotation Index (CPI), today fell 0.4% and closed at 47,941.88 units, 194 less than the previous day. p>
In the session, 105.7 million shares were traded in the global and local markets, for which 6,744 million Mexican pesos were paid (363.2 million of dollars). p>
Securities of 340 issuing companies were exchanged, of which 111 won, 215 lost and 14 closed without change. p>
The biggest gains were for the marketer of chemical products Grupo Pochteca (POCHTEC B) with 10.91%, Banco Santander (SAN) with 3.10%, and housing developer Corpovael (CADU A) with 2.36%. p>
The industrial sector grew 0.09% and the rest of the sectors registered losses, led by the financial sector (0.24%), followed by the one of %) and frequent consumption (0.14%).
