Summoned for today the fourth protest against the labor reform of Macron

Unions and French student organizations today organize the fourth day of protest, in which there are also held around 170 demonstrations across the country, against the Labor reform of the president, Emmanuel Macron.

Paris, Nov 16 (EFE) .- Unions and French student organizations are organizing today the fourth day of protest, in which there are also around 170 demonstrations organized around the country, against the labor reform of the president, Emmanuel Macron.

The General Directorate of Civil Aviation, which unlike previous movements did not ask the companies that suppresses any flight with preventive character, anticipated "some disturbances".

In the railways, the state company SNCF only contemplated "slight disturbances" in the regional trains and some long-distance lines (80% are expected to circulate normally), without incidents either on high-speed trains (TGV) or in the vicinity of Paris.

The draft law on labor reform, which was adopted by decree last summer so that it could enter into force quickly, is expected to be definitively ratified by Parliament at the beginning of December.

The text makes the labor market more flexible and its main axis is to give priority to the negotiation within the company, to the detriment of the rules legislative and sectoral agreements, especially in SMEs.

Among the most controversial points is the fixing of a roof and a floor in severance payments unfair, when until now the judges were free to establish the limit amount, with the consequent uncertainty. economic.

At the head of the protest is the General Confederation of Labor (CGT, second French union), which on this occasion has joined Fuerza Obrera (FO, "number three"). As on previous occasions, in this call "for a labor law that protects employees" there are other minority unions (Solidaires, FSU) and student organizations (UNEF, UNL and FIDL) but not what is now the first central, the French Democratic Confederation of Labor (CFDT).

The General Secretary of the CGT, Philippe Martinez, will be the visible head of the Paris demonstration, which begins at 2:00 pm local time (13:00 GMT) in the Republic Square.

The leader of France Insumisa, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who was in the origin of protests against the labor reform since September, on October 29 recognized that Macron had won the game, after they had deflated the last mobilization days.

The general secretary of the French Communist Party (PCF), Pierre Laurent, wanted to remove today importance to that reality and justified this new protest insisting in the idea that "Emmanuel Macron is the Santa Claus of the rich", in an interview with "France Info".
