Paris, Nov 27 (EFE) .- The Société Générale bank wants to reduce to 9% of its staff employed in the French banking offices until 2020, after announcing 900 new departures today, that add to the 2,550 already reported in 2015 and 2016. p>
This total reduction of 3,450 jobs, included in the new strategic plan of the entity, responds to an automation of internal processes that will lead to a greater number of transactions in online banking. p>
The bank said that in the reduction of cash "priority will be given to mobility internal "to other departments of the group, although he pointed out that early retirements and voluntary redundancies are also part of the plan. p>
This process will also lead to the reduction of bank branches in France from 2,000 today to 1,700. p>
The intention of the bank, one of the main banks in France, is to save over the next three years 1,100 million euros.
