Paris, November 28 (EFE) .- France announced today that it will ask the European Commission to activate the European Union (EU) Solidarity Fund for the damage caused in the Caribbean islands of San Martin and Guadalupe for the passage of hurricanes Irma and María last September, which amounted to 1,956 million euros.
