The same indicator shows that the country's economic activity accumulates a growth of 0.43% in the first nine months of 2017 compared to the same period in 2016, but this figure does not yet take into account seasonal effects.

The official numbers of the Brazilian GDP in the third quarter will only be released on December 1.

According to a survey among economists conducted last week by the Central Bank and disclosed also on Monday, the financial market forecasts that the Brazilian economy will end 2017 with a growth of 0.73% and that this recovery will be consolidated in 2018, for when it expects a expansion of 2.51%.

The economists of the private banks are more optimistic than the Central Bank itself, which foresees for this year a growth of 0.70%, and that the Ministry of Planning, which expects an expansion of 0.50%.
